We all have see Verizon and AT&T claiming to cover 98 percent of the United States but lets face it that map does not reflect reality. I cant get signal in places that says I should be able to. Thats why i go with an App and Website called Open Signal. It uses real cell phone data from people that have the App installed to see signal strength, nearby cell towers and speed test. The maps provided by your wireless provider are for perfect condition like no trees or house in the way.
Freedomop now supports the iPhone 5s, Nexus 5, and the Samsung Galaxy S5 for BYOD.Many people have been asking me when the will support them and its now here. Make sure you check your devices eligibility HERE. There was a deal for a 16GB Apple IPhone 5s for $270 that just expired. So if i were you I would scour the web for deals on theses devices.
Whats going on FreedompopNewsers ? I saw the other day on the ITECHUOUT Blog an tutorial on how to get 2GB of free data on Freedompop. This is very convenient if your normal phone runs out of data and you don't want to pay overages. You can earn this data a few ways by getting people to sign up for Freedompop and also doing tasks and surveys. I would check out the tutorial below to know how to do it exactly. Hack yourself some free data! I have been waiting for what seems years to be able to buy an Freedompop phone in an brick and mortar store. It came to Office Depot and Office Max and it looks like its finally here at Sam's Club. These devices are still certified Pre-Owned though. And I think you need an Sam's Club Membership but its a good start. I hope to see Freedompop devices at more common stores like Target and Walmart. From just online to on the TV to Sam's Club. FreedomPop had six bids from carriers and a large tech company, but they ended up turning all of them down. FreedomPop picked up an unnamed strategic investor — not one of the companies that has been trying to buy it but a U.S. company that will help FreedomPop on the hardware side. By the end of the year they will have 1 million users in the U.S. Some of the new investment will be used to beef up one of the areas where FreedomPop has traditionally economized: customer service. FreedomPop doesn’t have a physical retail operation, and most sales occur online. They acquire customers in the U.S. for 1/100th of what the carriers pay. Its customer acquisition costs are under $5 where most carriers’ are $380/user. I have heard about low tech customer buying service through the TV ad and having trouble getting help because they don't have an email address . Hopefully they can fix this stuff.
